Personalized Immersion Into The Work

Dates: Ongoing and based on availability

A One-on-One Immersion is an opportunity to go deeper into your practice of The Work, taking up to 12 hours of focused time to identify and question the thoughts that are causing you stress. You choose the date(s) and duration of the Immersion, which can be anywhere from 4 to 12 hours. This course will be tailored to your needs.  We can do hour long or 90 minute long sessions.  Again, you decide what feels right for you. 

If you are new to The Work, a One-on-One Immersion is a great introduction to this powerful process of inquiry. And if you’re experienced in The Work, the Immersion offers extended and uninterrupted time for you to go deeper into your work. In either case, we will begin by focusing on one Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet and work through it from top to bottom. We will slow the process of the inquiry and look at the underlying beliefs as well.  We will also spend some time with The Living Turnarounds exercise. This exercise explores how to take the insights revealed during your inquiry and make them a part of your life.

You will receive customized homework assignments designed to enrich and build upon the discoveries you are making in your sessions.

The course will also include a follow-up phone or Skype session with me in order to continue The Work and reflect upon what you have discovered about yourself thus far.

Join Robyn Povich, Certified Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie and RYT500, for a retreat focused on who you are in relationships and what your expectations are for those you are in relationship with.  We’ll interlace mindful Kripalu Yoga with The Work.


Experience stretching your mind AND your body as you dive into inquiry and discover your own innate wisdom. 


Is there a relationship (or two) in your life that brings you anxiety, grief or anger?

Rather than try to suppress the judgments you have about others, we will use those judgments as a guide for self-realization. You may find that as you cease trying to get reality to match your stories of how it “should be,” you may begin to experience the peace and happiness that comes with allowing everything and everyone to be just as they are.

During this retreat, you will have the opportunity to learn more about yourself physically through the practice of yoga and mentally through the practice of The Work and notice how you show up in the world! 

Through group and individual exercises you will identify your most stressful stories and use The Work to unravel those stories and find peace. You will leave with new insights and the skills to take what you’ve learned into your life! 

All experience levels welcome. Parts of the retreat will be held in silence.

Identify the beliefs that affect your facilitation and give yourself the opportunity to become more aware of your own personal experiences as a client and as a facilitator, as you continue to just notice mind.  

In this 6-week experiential class you’ll learn some new skills to compassionately hold your client in The Work and at the same time honor their process. 
You’ll also have an opportunity to give and receive feedback about the facilitation process.

7 days in Fabulous Belize!​


Wake up to a mindful beach meditation, take a yoga class, indulge in a delicious light breakfast and then you're on your own until we connect again for yoga before dinner.  Between classes indulge in a massage, a sailboat ride, diving, snorkeling, parasailing, cave tubing, kite surfing, excursions to Mayan ruins, a bike or boat trip to town.  Or stay on the peaceful, healing grounds relaxing in a hammock on the beach or lounging by the pool.


We’ll have one excursion as a group and you are welcome to arrange other excursions on your own.

ACCOMMODATIONS

This Yoga Eco-Friendly Resort is located beach side on Belize's largest island, Ambergris Cay. Experience a relaxed bohemian-chic style that offers opportunities for quiet moments and connection.  Accommodations include private thatched-roof cabanas. Each cabana has a queen size bed and two twin beds, allowing for single, double, or triple occupancy. Although ocean-facing cabanas are available, each cabana has a sea view!

Walking through the grounds, you’ll feel like you are in the middle of the jungle as you take in all the beautiful plants and maybe catch a glimpse of the resident iguana.  In the middle of the property is a turquoise pool that wraps around the trees like a natural lagoon. There are lounge chairs nestled in the shade around the pool to relax, nap or read a book.

During this is a six-week teleclass we will slow it down and identify and question the thoughts that take you out of your integrity and into people pleasing mode.  You will have an opportunity to practice giving a YES to what works for you. Throughout the course you will be invited to notice the subtle thoughts or habits when you give a YES to others and in turn a No to yourself!
